The artist’s reveal: a feast for the eyes

An exhibit of posters and artwork was held from the 23 to the 27 of October in the cafeteria. The posters went from the entrance of Jake’s Café to the other end of Jake’s Cafe.

People from all over the College came to the poster sale: from students to administrators to Deans. The crowd was very supportive of the displayed artwork.

“Everyone that comes here comes out with a poster,” said Eli, a passerby. The posters ranged from paintings and photographs of:

o animals
o anime
o video games
o movie posters
o inspirational quotes and paragraphs
o world maps
o movie posters and references
o music artists
o Disney characters
o fruits
o TV shows
o sports teams
o alcoholic drinks
o religion
o cities and commercials

Upbeat music played at the counter, while people mingled around the posters. The posters were glued onto large cardboard. No more than three cardboard sheets were stacked on top of each other.

“It’s a good presentation. The drawings are nice and the prices are affordable” said another passerby. Plastic bags were available to take a poster home safely.
