Why do I wait? What have I to gain?

Will the result justify my pain?

It’s not that it hurts, it’s just very taxing.

Despite what I think, there’s no harm in asking.

Waves of thought crash down on my mind’s shore.

The voices of my life cause uproar.

The poor have it, the rich need it, if you eat it, you’ll die.

That is all you have to worry about, so don’t be shy.

Rhythmic thoughts grow and intensify.

I venture toward the clear blue sky.

Each step forward I take is its own progress.

I must choose the right moves in life’s game of chess.

Or is it better to just have fun?

If I be who I am, have I won?
