Cheetahs Win Home Opener Against St-Jean
A quarter mile from campus, in a quiet backyard occasionally enlivened by fire engine sirens and
homebound airliners, the roar of the crowd was heard at least three times from Vanier’s playing field…
our men’s football team brought home their first win of the season at the opener!
Every time the crowd announced their approval with roaring enthusiasm, I wished I’d had the time and
energy to be amongst the appreciative supporters in the stands – it sure sounded great!!
Congratulations Cheetahs! I hope it’s the first of many great games for you.
